The shooting of J.P. Dutta's Umrao Jaan was stalled by a good five hours recently. The reason being Aishwarya Rai, who got stung by a bee! They were in the process of shooting when Ash yelped. The bee had stung her hand. Dutta, graciously postponed the shoot. Fortunately, she recovered soon enough and the shoot continued without any further commotion!

While the shooting of 'Umrao Jaan' is over for most of the media , that is far from the truth . An important sequence of the film is presently being shot at Raja Mehmoodabad's place in Mehmoodabad , Uttar Pradesh .
Yesterday's (Wednesday) schedule had a chained Sunil Shetty in the swimming pool hall area of the palace ( given the look of a jail) . Everything was progressing smoothly but at around 11 in the morning , 'Umrao Jaan' (Aishwarya) entered the area to enact her part . But to the horror of everyone she screamed in pain as she was stung by a bee on her backside .
Thankfully , she recovered and the disrupted shooting was resumed at around 5'Oclock in the evening

UMRAO JAAN’ SHOOTING COMPLETED
Writer-producer-director J.P. Dutta has completed the entire shooting of J.P Films’ UMRAO JAAN in Jaipur. Only patchwork is pending, which will be completed next month. Cast: Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Suniel Shetty, Puru Raaj Kumar, Divya Dutta, Himani Shivpuri, Ayesha Julka, Bikram Saluja and Kulbhushan Kharbanda. Screenplay-dialogues: O.P.
