I had no idea B&P had such a huge opening weekend in the U.K..it was nothing like that over here in the STATES :-(

Aish still has the record (ever for a leading role) by having the biggest movie opening weekend in the U.K. for B&P. This even beats every Shahrukh Khan and Yash Chopra movie. And no actress has ever done this.
