I must say I have recently seen my first Indian movie. It was Devdas in english subtitles. It was unbelievable glorious, magnificent. And Ash is definitely the next International superstar. She is more than just another beautiful face. Through her eyes her inward beauty radiates outward. If she remains that way, keeping it "Real" then I'll keep buying her movies. I've already got several others on order to add to my DVD collection. I am thankful I decided to broaden my horizon beyond just America influenced movies. |

Whats amazing about her performance is that she is almost unrecognizable in the film. If you didnt see her name in the credits you would not know she was in the film, its like shes a different person. She submerges herself into the character completely. |

I dare to describe her performance. At I can say I was thundered to see her. Sometimes I completely forgot I'm just watching a movie not in real life. I was thundered whether anyone can make such expression at face during acting which is only possible in real life. |

Well said Arijit. Truth to speak because of these scoundrels I believed her as an arrogant, envious and malicious woman upto 2003. But truth is always truth. Its not possible for clouds to hide the sun forever. I believe these people will soon get their repay from Almighty. |

It seems that some people from the media earn their bread and butter by criticizing Aishu. Her directors, costars and even people from the media are all in praises for her performance, but there is a section of media, that simply revel in mud-slinging. Don't they ever get tired of their dirty work? I wonder whether they ever listen to their conscience or not! (or rather do they have any conscience? LOL) I had a whale time on Dec. 25, 2004 as I could record Aishu's interviews on various TV channels. I wish I could receive the CBS channel and record Aishu's "60 minutes" interview. |

Raincoat is certainly for Oscars. Watched it first day first show. Even Aishu's greatest critics will go gaga over Aishu's performance. Rituparno Ghosh's storytelling is excellent. Ajay did a good job too. |
