Thanks Arijit. The DVD released here in the US has a different cover, so I can't tell, but I have two questions: (1) How long is your DVD? If the film is 130-140 minutes, it is the abridged one; if nearly three hours (I think the unedited length was about 170 minutes) then it is not; (2) Does your version have English subtitles? All,
I have been looking high and low for a DVD version of "Chocker Bali" by Rituparno Ghosh that is un-edited (the version I have been able to find has 30-40 minutes trimmed from the Bengali theatrical version). Do you know if the complete film has been released on DVD (whether in India or elsewhere), and if so, whether the version has English subtitles?
