i emailed them as well
that is really unfair
she was leading by around 800-900 right at the time when the poll closed
and the day before i checked the results for most attractive man and orlando was losing by like 40000 votes so its impossible to declare him the winner
Oh well even if shes not in next year's hello poll thats alright cuz this meaningless and unfair poll doesn't matter. We don't need to prove ash's beauty, we know she's the most beautiful and thats all that matters |

good work nazir. After reding ur post,I too have mailed to them asking the reason.And now i think there is no point in fearing if they r gonna put her in future competitions , when the competition itself stands here meaningless.

Right throughout I was following and voting for Aish in the Most Elegant Poll and right upto the
last day she was in the lead by atleast 500 votes . There is no way that the Princess overcame the lead to
put Aish in second place. I have no respect for the magazine. I believe it was rigged in Mary's favour. Although with millions of Indians around the world we could have pushed more votes for Aish. Andrea Corr was way ahead in the Most Attractive. That means that many British and Europeans were casting their votes quite often for her unless that one was also rigged.
I am more doubtful about what happened in the Most Elegant Poll. They robbed Aish. I sent an email to Hello to protest. |

There was no limit of votes specified except that one can vote at an intervel of 10 minutes only. and if they had a limit of votes from the same ip number, it should be mentioned. another thing is in India browsing centers are widely used for internet than home pc. so majority of votes may come from same ip address.
if they had removed the votes based on that, the poll is unfair.
But if we press the hello ppl i fear what suzy said might turn true.

From somewhere else:
"Colin Firth was ahead of Orlando Bloom, 240,000 to 190,000. Yet in the final results Bloom is credited with 34% to 24% margin of victory!!!! Just before the poll was cut-off the next hightest was Gerard Butler at 30,000 ...
Notice that the results are given in percentages!!
So Both Colin and Orlando had many, many votes removed even though they still finished in the top 2, Together they had well over 80% of the votes, but the final results show a big adjustment.
Also, when the poll closed Rai was ahead of Princess Mary in the Most elegant poll by about 800 votes but the Princess is listed as the winner by 5 pct points.
Kate Bosworth was somehwere in the Top 5, she was up there with Andrea and Rai early on remember, well they bumped all the way down to second to last!!!
Andrea's margin of victory of 35% to 18% is a little wider than it would have been, so Rai had a few votes subtracted from her tally there too."

something is not quiet okay with the results of th e final most elegant poll. while ash maintained the lead in elegant poll at the closing of the poll at 13:00hrs BST with 800plus votes over princess mary, she already lost it in attractive poll to Andrea(10,000 voteslead). while all fans r happy that she won the poll we get the jolt when hello mag declared princess mary the winner. all we can say is "ash had more votes than mary" at the closure. how the votes r counted? did they disqualify any votes etc....we need some explanation from the hello ppl. |

guys, the poll is over.did anyone watch the polls closely? evening she was leading in most elegent as when i saw.how did she move to second by evening?
anyway noone could beat her. she is the overall champ. cheers to aish...
