Just surfing, and I wanted to say I love your first three posts on Aishwarya that you started this thread with Aishgoddess/Guruji. LOL It's really a great post. Well someone posted it on the Aishwarya Rai imdb boards saying you wrote it here, and you kinda have a little cult following of your own on the Aishwarya Rai imdb boards because everyone thinks your post is awesome. You should come join us there too.

I think people were more easy going here before the bashers started coming. LOL I said that before on the site somewhere.
Well I think we all agree with you. LOL But when people don't understand her it get's a little frustrating. LOL No more rooftop shouting.

LOL you know what I've realised on this board. Is that prior to the 60 minutes interview it was fun, and then the bashers came, along with the great new fans of course hehehe and everything got so serious. Everyone's just so serious. We don't take the mick here jokingly anymore like on the forever boards. We never really went back to being fun and chilled and normal here. LOL ahhhhh!

LOL....courier...you should go to the FB board and read what mistress of spices thread. its more of a magical love story than anything else.

now provoked is more of an immigrant story, but not really MOS...there is more "stuff" in MOS because its about a woman who falls in love with this handsome young man but it goes against everything that she stands for. yes shes from india and is transported to oakland but still that doesnt really make it an immigrant story..it is a LOVE story :-) loll

I heard that the story is about an immigrant's experience. But you guys keep talking about other "stuff". People should not get a wrong impression. That's what I meant.

Ok. Don't spread a "wrong" image about the movie. Many fail exactly for that reason.

Nobody can grill Aishu. She is simply too good and too intelligent to get off balance. She has tremendous inner strength and beauty. God has blessed her with trmendous inner and outer beauty. I am sure even God is proud of his greatest creation.

Every question had a politically correct answer. This, even after the 60 minutes editing team would have spent hours trying to edit and splice segments trying to get her across the way THEY would like.
And still after each interview, the woman remains so ambiguous and enigmatic, so full of dignity, intelligent, and her fan base just keeps on growing.
LOL
I wish her the best of luck and I support her.

LMAO
Wait I haven't finished yet... stay with me....
People who think Aishwarya was reserved and had a scarcity of intelligence on her American interviews are devoid of any knowledge of interviews. People don't realise how sly those questions actually are. You need a journalists' brain to get the subtext of a question immediately, so one can easily forgive the Indian media for struggling to understand Rai's appearances in America.
Questions during her 60 minutes interview about intimidation of men and kissing are questions that the opinionated viewers will remember the answers to, long after the interview is over. Somehow, Rai has to speak for her whole country whilst not coming off as a prude herself at the same time.

One of the things people all over the world find most sexy about this woman, and I think struck Julia Roberts the most about Aishwarya is this incredible confidence and maturity in the public eye whilst still remaining incredibly likeable and innocent. There is no inferiority complex or insecurity about her ethinicity, her nationality, her roots or her upbringing, or her capabilities even in the face of so much bashing and malicious scrutiny. I even saw this insecurity in Oprah during Oprah's interview with Aishwarya, but never in Rai. The Rai knows what she wants, she's gonna get it, and guess what, when she does, she's still going to have billions of fans left over. This must make alot of racists' blood boil and I simply love this fact. I love how she "smiles as abuse is hurled her way, because it too shall eventually pass"
