Some of the websites claim that Aishu's younger brother Siddhart Rai is getting married (may be her cousin brother). In that case I apologize for my mistake. I thought, when Aishu mentioned that her brother is getting married, then that must mean Aditya.

Simone, Kryss, can anyone of you give us a clear picture?

Congrats Mr Rai

I am sorry because I am not in a position to be more specific at this point of time.

If it is true then Congratulation to Ash. I think only sky is your limit.

Congratulation to Aditya too and wish him a Happy New Life. Your life would be filled with happiness. God bless you.

When this type of happy moment will come to his younger, one and only sister. I’m eagerly waiting to hear this type of happy news.

OOPs! I forgot to mention that Aishu was in Lucknow to attend the wedding ceremonies of both the sons of Shubroto(Sahara) Roy. Entire bollywood, corporate biggies including Anil Ambani, politicians including the Prime Minister attended the grand weddings.

If the small article in Lucknow Times (Magazine section of Times of India Lucknow) dated Feb 20, 2004 is to be believed, then
1. Aishu may take part in Cannes film festival 2004 and
2. Aditya (Aishu’s brother) is getting married in Bangalore around that time.

If that’s true, then I would like to offer my best wishes to Aishu and Aditya (in advance LOL)
Congrats! and All The Best!

Here is what was mentioned in it: -

If things go well with Aishwarya Rai’s schedules (she is shooting for Gurinder Chadda’s Bride and Prejudice and French Chaos), she may make an appearance at the forthcoming Cannes film festival. The actress who is a world cinema buff says, “The brand that I am endorsing wants me to give a brief appearance in the fest. And being a cinema buff, I want to be a part of it. But I have to work it out as around that time, my brother is getting married in Bangalore. I have to be there too.

However, I figured out a flaw in reporting. Beneath Aishu’s photograph (that was taken from the press meet of Kyon Ho Gaya Na in Mumbai on Monday, Feb 09, 2004) was mentioned “Aishwarya Rai who was in Lucknow recently and has just resumed shooting for Kyon Ho Gaya Na in Mumbai, shows what it takes to stand out.”

To the best of my knowledge, Aishu visited Lucknow on Tuesday, Feb 10, 2004 after finishing the shooting and press met for KHGN and stayed here with her family (however, I could just see her mother in the newsprints and TV coverage) till Saturday, Feb 14, 2004 after which she flew to Kolkata to shoot for Raincoat.
