I think the model looks a bit like her. It was amazing when ash came out to see it. I was there so i know how she felt and all the things she was saying to express her feelings. Her mum and Gurinda were there to accompany her. The press were going mad. Because I got a chance to meet her later on they started to interview me on how i felt and what i thought of the statue. |

I agree with you the wax doll looks nothing like her. I'm quite surprised they did a crappy job with her doll. Most of the ones of major celebs like David Beckham looks realy good.. |

Firstly, the wax statue is a temporary commercial arrangement, and no indication of talent or having arrived. Secondly, with all due respect, The Taj is more beautiful than I - see you in ten (years), Ash |

Yo, that wax statue is stupid. I saw the picture, and i was like the smiling pretty one is obviously the real Aishu, and that one in the back not smiling is obviously wax. Aishwarya should've been like, "This is crap. Make me another one by next week." And the world would have said, "Yeah, absolutely, make another one." :-P |

I'm also agree with simmyrai75.This is not like her. It may be like her if we analysis minutely. But at the first look it is not like she. One thing is clear. For human being it is impossible to make her replica. She’s always an extraordinary. |

Thank u David. I apologize; I included the MOBO Awards snaps also in this post. I also posted imagestation links, which can't be accessed from outside. I request all of you to take a membership of imagestation, which is free of cost and search the images. I have rectified my mistakes. I have opened a new thread for MOBO Awards Aishu at Mobo Awards 2004 1. http://editorial.gettyimages.com/source/CFW/detail s_Pop.aspx?iid=51373969&cdi=0 2. http://editorial.gettyimages.com/source/CFW/detail s_Pop.aspx?iid=51373968&cdi=0 3. http://editorial.gettyimages.com/source/CFW/detail s_Pop.aspx?iid=51373966&cdi=0 4. http://editorial.gettyimages.com/source/CFW/detail s_Pop.aspx?iid=51373964&cdi=0 5. http://editorial.gettyimages.com/source/CFW/detail s_Pop.aspx?iid=51373962&cdi=0 6. http://editorial.gettyimages.com/source/CFW/detail s_Pop.aspx?iid=51373849&cdi=0 7. http://editorial.gettyimages.com/source/CFW/detail s_Pop.aspx?iid=51373845&cdi=0 8. http://editorial.gettyimages.com/source/CFW/detail s_Pop.aspx?iid=51373842&cdi=0 9. http://editorial.gettyimages.com/source/CFW/detail s_Pop.aspx?iid=51373840&cdi=0 |

Was at the un-veiling of the wax model today - this morning, actually - it is not exactly like her, but a good likeness has been achieved. |

G Chanda and her were very impressed, as was her Mum but they had to dash off, because of her presenting at the MOBO awards, in Royal Albert Hall! |

Oh gosh, i'm so unlucky. I was there last month.I really thought that how nice if they had asihwarya ji as one of the wax model in the musuem. At least I could have taken photo with her. That would have complete my trip to UK. Not sure when I'll get the chance to meet her in person. Photo with the wax model would have justified for me. |

Excerpt: - And now she has moved one step further in her international acclaim with finding a place at the Madame Tussauds waxwork museum in London which features waxwork models of legendary personalities across the world. The decision was made when UK distributors of Bride and Prejudice approached Madam Tussauds who agreed to the idea. The wax model will be installed very soon in the museum and Aishwarya Rai will be present to grace the occasion. Source : http://www.indiafm.com/scoop/04/sep/0609ash/index. shtml |
