If true, then that was very nice of her to do. I am sure that when something like this happens, everyone in the world must come together, and pray for the well being of man-kind. But still, my question has not yet been answered and I hope someone can answer it. Did Ash ever have an email address titled ashrai75@hotmail.com??? if anyone would be so kind to let me know, it would be much appreciated. |

Source: http://www.apunkachoice.com/scoop/bollywood/200501 15-0.html Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Rai made her first visit to the Balaji Temple to offer prayers for the people affected by the tsunami disaster in South India and the Andaman archipelago. Accompanied by her family, Ash left Mumbai on Thursday and arrived on a commercial flight at the Renigunta airport, 20 km from Tirupati. From there a group of dozen security guards escorted the Bollywood stunner on her 15-km, six-hour trek through Thirumala hills. She arrived at the temple for the early morning prayer. A report quotes Ash as saying that she prayed for the well being of the tsunami-hit women and children, particularly in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Reports quote the chief priest Ramana Dikshitulu as saying that the Rai family spent almost three hours in the temple complex. “They participated in the tomala seva rituals since 3 am and went around all the sub-shrines in the temple complex,” he reportedly said. Later, the Rai family went to the Ranga Mandapam, one of the main halls in the complex, where they received blessings from priests along with prasadam, sandal paste and a silk shawl. |
