It is confirmed that Ash will start filming Mistress of Spices
for director Paul Berges on January 15th, 2005.
Mistress will shoot in the United States, London
and on the Isle of Man.
Aishwarya has also signed on with a new theatrical agency.
CAA (creative artists agency) is the largest and most
powerful agency in the world. She joins their roster of artists - Meryl Streep, Robert Deniro, Julia Roberts,
Michael Douglas, Nicole Kidman, Catherine Zeta Jones and Brad Pitt to name a few.

In 2005, Ash is set to star in Coline Serreau’s Chaos
and Mistress of Spices for Berges. We are in talks now with Mani Ratnam to write
and direct the true story of Nisha Sharma.
Aishwarya has agreed to star in Rajkumar Santoshi’s historical epic, Prithviraj
Chauhan, starring Ajay Devgan in the lead with Ash playing Samyukta.
Boney Kapoor’s Kyun! Ho Gaya Na., directed by Sameer Karnik, with Vivek Oberoi and Amitabh Bachchan,
opens in India on Aug 13.
Bride and Prejudice opens in India and UK on October 8 and in
the USA December 25.
Other releases scheduled for 2004 are Raincoat
(Dec. 3) for Rituparno
Ghosh and Shabd for director Leena Bajaj.
Ash has recently filmed yet another commercial for L'Oreal
Paris and the prestigious news program 60 Minutes will profile Rai in November.
